yes I were, there were a certain amount we new would say no like the out of staters and a few others so it wasnt to bad. Plus we have a few that if by some chanve we didnt meet our minimum we would invited

We had 298 out of about 370, I would say a good chunk of my no's were people who were invited with a guest who did not bring one.

I am inviting 165-70. I have to guarantee 140. Originally, my guarantee was 100 and and we had 120-30 on list. But then all of his Italian relatives are making a big trip out of it so the list grew. I didn't want to get bigger room but FH went behind my back. I told him if we don't meet 140, HE will pay!!! I also started inviting people's kids and more +1s so maybe it will be 180...
Fh is confident on the 140..I am not...

so far yes....we only can have 119 guests at our hall so its not like we invited the whole world so who we did invite are immediate family and close friends and so far I have had no NOs with the rsvps

Right now our decline rate is 35% of those we invited (invited a total of 232) and I expect that to go up. I think they typically say that 20-25% don't come. So no, I wasn't expecting that many 'no's' and I got a lot of no's form people I didn't expect to.
I'm right with you on this one! I've gotten a few suprises so far. I think our decline rate might be higer than that. We invited 210 expecting 150 and right now we are at 97 yes and 45 no. That is almost half. Anyway, for most of my friends my wedding is a destination so I'm not all that suprised. What is killing me right now is the people that swore up and down for the last year that they were coming that are now not and didn't give a reason. We think we are going to finish up at 120.

OMG...our guest list is about the same! I'm hoping we stay at or under 300! I'm so worried about these, I want to send out the invitations now lol

we invited 246 with our min of 175 right now we are at 171 and still missing a few people
but i think i was correct since i really wanted to keep it at 175

I had to guarantee 120...I am going to end up having around 155-160 people. Alot of our single friends are coming alone so that helped ALOT...
We invited around 200...

Yes we made a spread sheet of everyone invited & made columns of yes no & maybe & overall we were on the money. We thought we would have about 212 to 215 we had 210 & we invited 260.

we invited about 280 people... only having 199... guaranteed 200, so figures we have 199. some family we thought would def come arent, some people coming without husbands/guests. some people will be on vacation.
