do you flip your ring around so that the diamond is on the side of your palm??

I work in the city and whenever I walk from my car to the train, when I'm on the train, and when I'm walking to my job once in the city I always have my ring flipped around to be cautious just because you really never know who is around you. I've seen sooo many women who don't do this so I was just wondering if anyone on here flips their ring too.

I also take the LIRR and am usually with so many people that I never flip it. I do sometimes flip it when I'm on the regular train but I don't flash my ring.

I take the N train everyday and I wouldnt reveal anything to those crazies.

I only flip mine when I feel uncomfortable. dosnt matter if I'm in the train or not. I take the E train everyday and so far I only had to flip it once. I hate when people make comments like they flip it around only around a certain group of people or when they are in certain areas. You never know who has eyes on your property, it is often the person you least expect. Just because someone lives ina bad area and has low income doesnt make them a theif.

I agree. I take the LIRR and the subway when I come from FH's place and I've never flipped my ring. I don't work in or go through bad areas plus it's always during rush hour so I never flip it.

Yes I have done this before. In the winter I always kept my my gloves on and in the spring I always had my hand in my jacket pocket. If I'm with FH, I don't flip it, but by myself I will. It's uncomfortable when people start to stare at your ring.

I'm a commuter. When I first got engaged I flipped for maybe the first month or so, then I started paying attention to EVERYONE's left hand haha and noticed that barely anyone does this. I never feel too sketched out. I ride the train with the same ppl everyday, and even on the subway. I think I would definitely do this if I felt threatened in any way though.

I've taken the subway alone almost everyday since I was 13.
I flip my ring every day. I've seen 15 years of crazy sh!t on the train; I know better than to invite trouble.

LoL...this is so funny because I am alwayyysssss flipping my ring!! Usually when I'm walking somewhere alone or in the school parking lot ect....my ring is constantly being flipped, lol.
