do you flip your ring around so that the diamond is on the side of your palm??
I work in the city and whenever I walk from my car to the train, when I'm on the train, and when I'm walking to my job once in the city I always have my ring flipped around to be cautious just because you really never know who is around you. I've seen sooo many women who don't do this so I was just wondering if anyone on here flips their ring too.

I don't take the train to work, but I'm a social worker and work with some very under privileged people. There are MANY times when I flip my ring. I usually do it when I'm going into a low income area, a not-so-great high school, or the department of social services buildings.

i take the train everyday. i only flip my ring when i feel uncomfortable. since i am on a regular schedule, (work 8:30-4:30), i usually see a couple of the same people who get off at the same stop as me. so if i am in a very uncomfortable situation i will just start a conversation with them.

i feel the same way....i used to flip it but now i find myself not doing it as often...its amazing, you will see the same exact people every day on the same trains...it almost feels like you know them!!
i usually see ladies on the train showing off their trains

LOL! that's how my train is - I take the Metro North and most women have humangous rocks on their hands, so I never flip, cause compared to them I dont even have a ring
