For girsl who have a solitaire E ring (no sidestones or any diamonds on the band)

Original post by Marianne13

What kind of wedding band are you picking? My wedding isn't until April but I'm already starting to think about it. Here is an idea of what my e-ring looks like (it's the same exact band with a round center stone).

Should the wedding band match the E-ring? If so I would pick a plain platinum wedding band. Or should I do something with diamonds going around?

My ring looks just like yours! I decided to get a wedding band that looks just like the one on the right you posted (it is called a shared setting or shared prong), except with more diamonds to cover the top of my finger. I like the idea of a plain one too, and I might get one down the road, but I decided to get something sparkly first, that way we dont have to wait for some other occasion to get me a fancy ring.

A single stone solitare is so versatile, it seems like you could get any band you want. You could even wear your e-ring on another finger.

FYI I have been warned that unless the shared prong ring is really well made, preferably with thick prongs, sometimes they can loosen and you could loose a stone. If you decide to go this route, I would voice this concern to your jeweler.

I just went wedding band shopping last weekend! I have a similar e-ring and I am getting a band that has diamonds that cover 1/2 of the band. But I agree with the above poster...the e-ring is so versatile you can get with anything!
