i cant seem to understand what the state website is trying to say. first is says the star exemption is discontinued for 2009 and nor further info for 2010 but then theres all this information and deadlines for applying. so is the star in place for 2010 and have they decided about 2011 year and whats the difference beteween enhanced star and basic?

Hopefully I can help....The star program is still in effect. It is the star rebates that were discontinued. They were checks you would get in the fall....sort of like a refund. Enhanced star is for special circumstances like seniors. HTH
