For ladies that have a fetal doppler...

Where did you get it?

Do you like it and do you use it? I'm afraid it will be hard to use and then I'll freak myself out!

I rented mine from baby beat. I pay $24 a month. I thought it was very easy to use. I found the heartbeat everytime. For me it really helped to ease my mind and helped me to relax a little more. Now that I feel the baby pretty consistently I am going to send it back.

Mines also a Babybeat. I started at 10 weeks with Jeremy. Sometimes I found it then and sometimes I didnt, they are so tiny then. You have more success around 12 weeks finding it all the time.

I'm almost 27 weeks and some days the baby is so active and others I hardly feel her at all and I get freaked out. I'm not sure if I should just call the doctor on those days or order the monitor.

It wouldnt hurt to give you peace of mind. When you dont feel her drink some juice and lay down. Your movements are probably rocking her to sleep

My dr is great - I too was VERY nervous and contemplate getting the doppler. My dr, however, told me it can be very unreliable to just call her and they'd do the check there whenever I was worried. The dr's would rather relieve your worries than have you stressed. I would go to the dr in the beginning every week to hear the heartbeat. It's normal to freak out!

I also rented mine at baby beat... 24/month.. I absolutely LOVE it!!!!! Its been so easy to use, and Ive found the heartbeat everytime!!!
I was a nervous wreck all the time before I bought it, now I can enjoy my pregnancy so much more!!!!!!

FH and I lay down everynight and listen to our baby... its our bonding time! I plan on keeping it until the baby is born, however as I begin to feel baby more and more.... Im considering maybe sending it back within the next 2 months,,,

I highly recommend it, and I totally intend to rent one with my next pregnancy!
