My boss is driving me nuts today - I soo don't want to be here. I'm worked w/him for almost 8 years and he has mood swings a lot. I've spoke to him about it numerous times and he apologizes but then does it again.

The last time he had an outburst was a couple of mths ago and I had a real heart to heart w/him. I told him that I didn't want to work for him any longer if he was going to continue acting the way he does and not try to change. He said sorry again and told me that he depends on me so much and he needs me...he calls me his work wife. I'm his Executive Asst. and let's just say I do a lot for him, his wife and daughter. He's been good until this morning....

He had another outburst and when I called him on it, he apologized again.

But, how many times can you accept an apology if the person doesn't change???

I think I need a job change because I need a change of boss, environment, etc. but at the same time I'm so comfortable since I have worked w/him for so long and make good $. I dont know what to do.

Sorry to go on and on...thanks for listening...I feel a little better.

Have the H2H again...recommend some meds..really, now it's getting out of hand.

Also, you can consider another job, but you have to decide how much you can take...

I would seriously have a sit down with him and explain to him that he if does it again, you have to look elsewhere for another job, nobody should be treated like that

Your right, I really have to figure out what is best. It just stinks because you get so comfortable but your right, no one deserves it and I'm not going to put up w/it!!
