For November 12th wedding, when should I MAIL invites and when should RSVP be?

Mail?
RSVP?

Should I leave room for any B-list invitaitons?

D you make two different sets of invitations with two different RSVP dates to give to the B-list invitees? (I hate the idea of B-lists, btw!)

rsvp, could be up to 1 month before, October 12, 2006.

For me im doing 7 weeks before my rsvp date, but it also depends on if you have alot of out of town guests.

We nixed the whole b list thing because it was only 14 more people.

I'm a couple of days before you, and I used October 1 as my RSVP date.

I used exactly one month prior for my RSVP date. I also have a B list - it's only my coworkers which is about 8 invites...I just can't decide if I want to invite them or not. I will not have separate RSVP dates set up for them - I'll probably just send them out a week or so after my invites go out...if I decide to invite them.

I'm trying to get my invites out 9 weeks prior to my wedding date.

typically, mail by sept.12 to give four weeks for the
RSVP date which should be october 12th really. as far as a B-list, that's a personal call...we ended up with a C list!

if you want to give the 'B-list' a second RSVP date, then mail them when you reach your first deadline and give them 2 weeks...or make your first RSVP date 6 weeks before and then mail the B-list then and use the 4-week before date for them.

I'm November 4th and plan on mailing invites Aug 26 with an Oct 1 RSVP date. HTH

The lady that is doing my invites told me to mail out my invites at the end of aug I told her my wedding is the 7th of october and the rsvp won't be correct. So when I order them the 7th of aug and as soon as they are proofed I am mailing them out ASAP. So I have a feeling the RSVP is going to be two weeks before the wedding to make it acually a month

All my invites are being mailed together. My wedding is 11/5 and my RSVP date is 10/1. Our invites are being mailed during the last 2 weeks of August.

I am mailing my invites August 28, with an RSVP of October 6. We have 60% OOT guests so I want to give them ample time to make their arrangements. We are also planning to do a B list and will have a separate TBD RSVP date for them.
