For OOT guests....

I'm in the process of creating a booklet that will be mailed out after the invitations (or should it be with the invitations?). Anyway, and I want to make sure I include all relevant info. If you did this, what information did you include for your out of town guests.

I haven't done this yet, but with my invitations I will include all of the directions....then I am making OOT guest bags to be given once they arrive at the hotel...that will include things to do in the area, a map and directions again in case they forgot, places to eat etc (along with some goodies!)

I would include it with the invitations. Too many mailings and people lose them. Definately include hotels (whether you book a block or not), directions, and if you have planned a get-together for all guests. (ie: some people extend an invitation for all OOT guests to meet at a bar/restaurant after the rehearsal dinner, as a way for everyone to see each other when they aren't stuck to a table at the wedding) And point them to a wedding website if you have it.

All the details can be on the website, and make sure to include them with your gift bags at the hotel! In that also include directions, again, times, again, and point out some areas of interest to guests that might be staying in the area after your wedding. Ooh! And point out restaurants and bars too. Many of your guests haven't seen each other in a while and like to keep the party going after the reception.

Oh my goodness! I've had too much caffeine today. I can't stop typing!
