I wore it afterwards - who cares if it gets dirty at that point!

We had a blast at the bar afterwards and the nachos were great!

are you wearing your dress all night?? or are you going to change into something else?

We are inviting all the guests back to the hotel bar afterwards...a huge bar and a live band at night. My mother in law said I should wear my dress to show off I just got married..and when am i going to get to wear it again? But then I dont' wnat to get it dirty. What are you girls doing....or what can you suggest??

Seeing as you won't ever wear it again, I wouldn't worry so much about getting it dirty. Even if you want it preserved in case someone else will wear it in the future, anything you do get on it will come out when you have it cleaned right after the wedding, too. Personally, I'd wear it!!

However, it's your day, so do whatever you'd like.

I know it's going to be so hard for me to take off my wedding gown, knowing I'll probably never wear it again... so I'd savor the experience as long as possible!

We plan to have an afterparty at our house afterwards so I plan to wear my dress all night - and I have to agree - it's going to be dirty anyway from wearing it all day, so who cares at that point anyway?

I kept my dress on. We had our after party in a room we rented out in a hotel. It was my one and only time to wear a gown like that so i wanted to take full advantage!!!

my wedding ended at 6pm but we partied at the hotel bar until after midnight.

i wore my dress, headpiece and veil the ENTIRE time and loved every minute of it!! i did wear slippers though

I am keeping my dress on! At that point the pictures are done so who cares what the dress looks like. Besides its the only time I get to wear it so why not wear it all night!

My friend had a day wedding, then party at the bar, then slept and went to breakfast the next morning in her dress!!! Everyone at the resturant was like aren't you going to get it dirty before your wedding... she was like NO it was yesterday

Am I the only one? I'm not going to wear my dress all night; I want to be comfortable at my afterparty and I don't think I would be too comfy in an Irish pub in a wedding gown. That's just me. I'm the kind of girl who's home from work for 2 seconds before she throws off all her clothes and changes into flannel PJ's. Besides, I'm looking forward to buying a second pretty white dress! (I figure I'll buy a sundress from J Crew or Ann Taylor or someone like that).
