For people who did an exit (getaway car), how did you coordinate it?

Ok, how did you get everyone to go outside for the sparkler exit, rose toss, etc after the reception? I'm planning to stay until the very end, but I was wondering if you do a getaway does the party continues without you?

What about all of your stuff? Did you do the getaway and then go back to get the cards, etc?

we're going to the hotel from the reception... we're having a town car limo pick us up at the reception hall... we're staying til the end... we're changing at the hall, and our parents are taking care of my dress, the cards, toasting flutes, etc... i'm making them a list of what needs to come back from the hall.... as far as our luggage- we're gonna put it in one of the parents cars the morning or the night before so it'll be at the reception, too....

I think I want to stay until the end but was hoping the DJ could say something lik e'after the last dance please gather outside to say farewell to the bride and groom' or something like that
