For readers of 'The DaVinci Code'

Did you read Dan Brown's 'Angels & Demons'? I finished it last night. Pretty good.

Re: For readers of 'The DaVinci Code'

I'm all Dan Brown'd out! I read Angels and Demons first, then the DaVinci code, then Digital Fortress and I've just started another one, but I can't get into it. I'm just over his 'formula' but I did like A& D.

Re: For readers of 'The DaVinci Code'

I'm not a big fan of either of these books (I had to read them just to see what all the fuss was about!) but I thought A&D was better than DaVinci Code.

How was Digital Fortress? Similar to the themes of the other 2? TIA

digital Fortress was okay. It was just a basic technological-type thriller, it didn't have the big hook that the DaVinci Code had. Worth a read if you don't have anything else on hand and, of course, knowing Dan Brown, it's quick and easy.

I loved Angels and Demons even more than the Da Vinci Code! Deception Point was pretty good too.

theres actually a special on right now about 'breaking the da vinci code' on the History channel and dan brown is on it (i swear he described himself when he created 'Robert Langdon'... right down to the tweed jacket )

Re: For readers of 'The DaVinci Code'

I am reading Deception Point and I cannot get through it. I am not finding it interesting at all! But I am more than 3/4 through it so I might as well finish.
