I got my BA from Loyola and they didn't have an honor society there. I got my MA from Hofstra and I think they might have had an honor society but it was only for undergrad so I wasn't a part of it. Maybe if you contact NSSLHA they could give you some info. Where are you going to school?

I have already e-mailed someone from the main office of NSSLHA. I have already tried calling some other colleges. I go to Post.

I was at Hofstra. I was in the Sigma Pi honor society. Perhaps you can call them at Hofstra. I do know they are national.

I just tried calling and I got a voice mail for the dpartment chair.
I don't understand why there are so many different orgs but I can not find 1 web site! Are you sure Sigma Pi is the full name?

Yup another Hofstra SLP here! It was primarily undergrad (graduates sometimes spoke at special events) and was called Sigma Pi. You are probably best off contacting the undergrad dept. chair, Dr. Ronald Bloom.

If anyone has any contact info, I would really appreciate it. The problem is that I am calling other schools to find out and it's getting frustrating because either they have no clue what I am talking about or they don't get back to me. I am wondering if there is no national office, but schools are just taking a name and using it. The reason I am saying this is I have seen different names for honor societies for SLP...just for a specific school. Like Hoftra has 1, which you mentioned, but St Johns has Sigma Alpha Eta. ACK! I am getting stressed about this. I need to get this done!
