? for the Brides wearing sandals/open toe shoes?

are you wearing pantyhose or some kind of stocking with your shoe?
do brides go bare-legged?

I haven't picked shoes yet and I really have to start thinking about what to wear.

Thanks,
Donna

Re: ? for the Brides wearing sandals/open toe shoes?

I haven't bought my shoes yet, but I'm planning to go bare-legged and open-toed. My wedding is in late April, hopefully it will be warm that day!

I think especially for late Spring and Summer weddings, bare legs are fine....definitely more comfortable I'd imagine.

Re: ? for the Brides wearing sandals/open toe shoes?

these are my shoes and I don't plan on wearing pantyhose or anything. It'll be warm enough in that big dress I figure and it'll give me an excuse to get a pedicure and be pampered

Re: ? for the Brides wearing sandals/open toe shoes?

I had very similar shoes to the pic above, and didn't wear stockings or anything. To be honest, all I had on was my dress and underwear (sorry if TMI) and it was hot!!!!!!! I couldn't have imagined stockings on top of it.

Re: ? for the Brides wearing sandals/open toe shoes?

I wore nude stockings, only because the crinoline in my dress was itchy.

Re: ? for the Brides wearing sandals/open toe shoes?

I have the same shoes as pictured....I'm guessing I was going to do thigh-highs and then put socks on cuz I'm changing into sneakers for the reception. Otherwise I'm going bare...I HATE stockings

Re: ? for the Brides wearing sandals/open toe shoes?

I went bare-legged and thank God I did because I wound up getting married on the hottest day of last summer. It was very comfotable without any stockings, plus it made it so much easier to use the bathroom - one less thing to pull up or down.

Re: ? for the Brides wearing sandals/open toe shoes?

Thanks for all your responses. I guess w/o the stockings you can use a corset or something else for a little support and to hold everything in :)

Re: ? for the Brides wearing sandals/open toe shoes?

I got open toed shoes and I'm getting married in October. I'm not going to wear panty hose, for one, I think it would look silly sticking out of the shoe, and i think it would just me more comfortable without.

Re: ? for the Brides wearing sandals/open toe shoes?

I was planning to wear open toe shoes with nude colored stockings (sandal foot), but I hurt my foot 3 weeks ago and tore off my toe nail from the big toe!!! The doctor said that it will grow back eventually but he can't promise if it will grow back by April. Someone said maybe I can put on a fake toe nail, so that gave me a little bit of hope. I have to wait and see, I guess.

Re: ? for the Brides wearing sandals/open toe shoes?

I wore open toe shoes at my wedding. I went stockingless. The weather was beautiful, and nobody is able to see your legs or feet anyway. You can do what you want. It's your day!!!
