custom made...did you find it to be more expensive?? or just about the same?
I just ordered my w-band from Elsa's Jewelry.. and I thought I had a budget with regards to my wedding band... but I blew it
I'm getting 10 princess cuts prong setting 18k gold total carats is 1.6.. and I'm paying about $2600.. is that too much?? or does it sound just about right? Sorry if I posted too much info regarding pricing and ct. size.. I just want to be sure that I'm getting an ok deal... as I'm starting to freak out.. about how our budget has tripled with the total cost of our wedding

I am using Elsa's they are no cheaper than anywhere else. So you may have gotten the ring for 2K somewhere else???
What eeerks me is my FH's ring and my ring are the same price. Is Platinium that expensive??? I dunno???

well the reason why we went with Elsa's it's b/c... FH's ring is costing us $400!!! and it's the same ring that we saw on Blue Nile for $900.. so that was good... and prior to going to Elsa's we went to a few jewelers that were charging close to$2200-$2500 for not even 1/2 of the diamonds that I'm getting.. so let's my w-band has 10 diamonds.. the other places were giving 4-5 princess cuts.. now comparing that to Elsa's 10 cuts I kinda feel that we are getting somewhat a ok deal... but I never expected to be paying that much wedding bands! I would def. go back and see what the special reason for FH's ring to be as much as yours...

yeah platnium is one of the most expensive metals you can get your ring made out of...the most expensive is titanium i believe

Route 110 in Farmingdale near Adventure Land.... the reason why I we signed a contract..(yes that's right you have to sign a contract) was b/c the owner Stephan sat down with me and FH for 2hrs! and gave us his personal attention.. and never seemed annoyed or impatient.. and that was what impressed me.. and the fact that I told him my budget and he was really trying to find a way to work with me instead of turining me away.. so that was definitely a big PLUS!
it's by appt. only and they give an 1hr. appt. time slot.. and went over that.. and he didn't ok times up.. next customer please... and the work is something that your oversee.. and approve... prior to them giving you the finished product...it's amazing..
I was just a tad worried about the cost of my wedding...
