For the Disney lovers...help!

Sooo for all the Disney lovers, in a few weeks I will be able to make my restaurant reservations for our honeymoon! I'm really excited. How does this sound for the 4 days:

Day 1 Dinner (Downtown Disney)-House of Blues

Day 2 Lunch-(Mainstreet USA)-Cinderella’s Castle (Fairytale Lunch)
Dinner-(Frontierland)-Liberty Tree Tavern

Day 3 Lunch-(Hollywood Studios)- Sci-Fi Drive-in Restaurant
Dinner-(Epcot, Germany)- Beirgarten Restaurant

Day 4 Brunch-(Mainstreet USA)-The Crystal Palace
Dinner-(Mainstreet USA)-Tony’s Italian Restaurant

P.S~We are staying in my parents really nice timeshare, so i don't think we'll be going to any other resorts, that is why the restaurants are all within the parks

The restaurant in Germany isn't that great to be honest. The mac and cheese they make is Stouffers... The kind you can heat up in the microwave. I love disney but skip that place. There was this place I went to with my family when I was little that was such a fun restaurant. It was like a 50's restaurant where the waiters acted like your parents and yelled at you to eat your food. I can't remember what it was called or even if it still exists but it was cute.

The Mexican restaurant looked really good if you want to stay in Epcot.

I just got back from Disney on Saturday!!!! And I ate at some of the restaurants!!!

Day 1 Dinner (Downtown Disney)-House of Blues - It was ok, better than a fridays, but not as nice as a Cheesecake Factory

Day 2 Lunch-(Mainstreet USA)-Cinderella’s Castle (Fairytale Lunch) - LOVED IT!!!!! We did dinner, but I was pleasantly suprised with the food....dress a little nicer, I felt a bit dressed down for meeting Cinderella, and you get to take a pic with her and you got copies for FREE!!!!
Dinner-(Frontierland)-Liberty Tree Tavern - Never been here

Day 3 Lunch-(Hollywood Studios)- Sci-Fi Drive-in Restaurant - I tried to get reservations here but they were booked, I hear its really good, we ended up eating at the 50's prime time cafe which was very good, but its like 'moms home cooking' still yummy
Dinner-(Epcot, Germany)- Beirgarten Restaurant - LOVE the Beer!!! I dont like German food though, we ate in Italy

Day 4 Brunch-(Mainstreet USA)-The Crystal Palace - Great for meeting Characters, but the food honestly is not very good at all
Dinner-(Mainstreet USA)-Tony’s Italian Restaurant - Never been

Keep in mind, from the Magic Kingdom you can take a small boat over to the Grand Floridian for dinner also they have some WONDERFUL restaurants, and from Epcot you can also walk to the Yacht Club

Theres also an AWESOME italian place in Celebration called D'Antonios that was soooo good!!!

HTH and have fun!!!!! We actually made reservation at 2 places each night so we had something to choose from if we werent in the mood from one particular kind of food =)

You will have an awesome time. I haven't had a disappointing meal in Disney. I would suggest though having another meal in Epcot. I loved Germany - the floor show was really good and it does remind me of an authentic biergarten and I felt like I was back in Germany.

However, all of the countries have amazing food. Canada has awesome steaks, Mexico is one of my favorites and it's really romantic. France again is just incredible. Italy is a must-eat whenever I go. China and Japan are incredible....

So that would the be the only suggestion I have. The food in the Magic Kingdom is really great, but it's basic American food - you may want to shake it up a bit.

It's the 50's Prime Time Cafe in MGM/Hollywood Studios.

Thanks, good to know! Do you think we could have a romantic lunch in Mexico? Or is it really just dinner that is really good?

Go to this website, then click on the tab that says Parks...from there, on the blue tool bar, you will see Calendar and select that...it will give you the Park Hours plus if there is anything going on after hours as well.

You can absolutely have a romantic lunch in Mexico! FH and I rarely eat dinner there - mostly the lunch - for some reason that's just our pattern. But the pavillion is inside what is supposed to be a Mayan pyramid and when you walk in, the ceiling is list up like the nighttime sky. So you feel like you're sitting outside in Mexico eating dinner when in reality, your in the middle of Orlando at 1 pm!

You will love it.

I have to disagree, I love Germany. I go back there almost every time I go and I go alot. The atmosphere is so much fun with the show, sitting at tables with other people who get into the mood. It feels ALMOSt like an actual beirgarten in Germany, though not quite, and the food is great. The Mac and Cheese I don't know about, but really your not there to eat Mac & Cheese. I don't even know that they serve Mac and Cheese in real Germany, at least I have never had it there. But if you like German cuisine skip the American knock offs and go for the good stuff. The Sausage and Schnitzel is great. Potato pancakes are yummy. If you don't like German food however, you might be disappointed. But it also depends, are you there for the food or the fun atmosphere? If your going for the food alone go to Bistro Francais or Italy, unless you love German food. If your going for the atmosphere, go to Germany.

I think our most romantic meal was in France by the way. Even though the California Grill was meant to be our romantic night out.

So i'm telling FH we should go to the Mexican restaurant in Epcot and he boldly brings be back to reality by saying 'um aren't be going to be in MEXICO the COUNTRY the following week?' darn, he is right!

Re: For the Disney lovers...help!

You've chosen all our top choices

HOWEVER

Be careful with house of blues.
It is not considered 'disney' property and at times they will give up your reservation for someone inside pleasure island it's happened to us twice

also, make sure you ask for your food well done. We got our chicken almost raw and the manager told us that it was the 'Lighting'

I really am not one to complain but I am very skeevy with food since I am new at eating meat... and this just upset me...

Other than that inside is awesome... the walls have something to look at in every angle....
