I got a white gold w-ring. When we were planning our wedding and spending all kinds of money-we decided to get the white gold due to the price difference in the ring...about $1500 at the time and that was due to the price of platinum at the time.

So I have white gold and I get it dipped once in a while and it looks fine with my platinum e-ring.

Depending on your chemistry the ring will turn and having it dipped in Rhodium makes it look beautiful.
