for the girls who have had a colposcopy

my gyno said to wait 7 days b4 i can have sex again...so my question is the next time i have sex will it hurt??

Honestly, I can't remember. I remember thinking I didn't WANT to have sex for awhile for fear of it hurting. I think it was a little uncomfortable, but not painful persay. But the fact that I was totally tensing up and dried up like an old riverbead didn't help either (in preparation for major pain)

yeah, it hurts. Don't do it, you'll reopen the wound and it'll burn EVERY SINGLE TIME you pee. trust me on this one. If you want details, FM me.

In my experience, no, not after a week--but you may want to wait two just in case!

It's the test your gyno does after a pap comes back abnormal a couple times --- they cut a piece of your cervix for testing. It's uncomfortable, because your body naturally contracts when that area is poked and prodded - and I bled for a few days after it. Really not fun...

No, its dosent hurt...having sex that is.
The colposcpy...a little uncomfortable but tolerable.

Do you have to go for the Cryo? Where they freeze your cervix? I had it done 8 or 9 years ago...

oh ok, thanks hun, thats what im hoping..that i will b having such amazing sex--the last thing on my mind will b the colposcopy

It didn't bother me at all, either the test or sex after a few days. I guess I had a gentle doctor. Unfortunately my results were positive so I had the leap procedure done shortly afterwards and that was a bigger deal.
