FH will be coming to my aunts house b/c i went to his mom's for Thanksgiving. We switch on and off each year.

this has been a hot topic for us lately... Details aren't ironed out but we have agreed we must split the time up somehow.

We always split the holidays. Dinner with one family/Dessert with the other.
My FIL just moved to Florida about 2 months ago. His brother is the only one up here and his uncle. So we'll be with my family alot more.

this is one holiday where it is easy...kind of...
christmas eve at his parents house with his family.
christmas day with my parents and my family.

turkey day his fam ('Nj holiday')
Xmas eve (or week before whenever they want to do it) NJ holiday

xmas MY family 'li holiday'

easter im boycotting this year since its like 2-3 weeks before the wedding but normally we go away !

Uggg.this has caused nothing but drama in our home! We are going to my family but this hasn't kept FH mom from bitching and laying a guilt trip on us..She hasn't said anything lately..Thank God FH takes my side and doesn't give into his familes pressure..

ETA: FH family lives 6 hours away so it's impossible to split the day.

Well I'm not sure yet. I had FIL's over for Turkey day and to be honest, not sure if I want them to come for x-mas.

I'll wait and see.

We do Christmas eve with his family, I work Christmas day then we go to my family's for dinner.

Christmas Day I'm going to my grandmother's on my moms side.

Christmas Eve is up in the air. We were supposed to go to NJ (FH's uncle's house), but my fsil had a premature baby monday and if she doesn't go i might stay with them because no one should be alone on christmas eve!

We'll be spending Christmas with my family and New Years with FHs family... can't do both on the same day really because my family is in NJ and his in Austria.. kind of sux because one of us will always be away from our family for Christmas... until we geta bigger place and have kids then everyone can just come to us.

Xmas EVE is at MY house bc guineas do it UP...

and Xmas morning will be at his house. Not sure about where dinner will be that day though.. Still too soon to know...
