For the Love of G-d.....WHY must MIL be such a monster?
quickly I'll fill you guys in on what happened at 10pm last night:
I e-mailed the in laws to tell them their enlargements were done and asked for the $$ for them, as we were not buying photos for anyone and that was in agreement all around with both families.
Well, DH called to tell them about the hosue, MIL sounds so blase about it all (from the beginning). Well, I get an e-mail at 10pm last night saying how hurt and angry she is about paying my dad back since he paid 'nothing' towards the wedding (which is BS). She is now asking for all the money we borrowed from them in FULL (when we are closing in 2-4 weeks!!!). So DH calls her (she has been drinking by this point for 3 hrs). He tells her why can't we work it out, blha blah blah...she hangs up. I go walk the dogs I'm so ticked off. All she can think of is her getting her $$ back from his settlement.....no, it's ok...we didn't want our own home!! We didn't want to get rid of any of our other debt. We had asked them to give us a # so we could start paying them back-they never got back to us!!!!![]()
She said her pics should have been free since they paid for RD, c-pieces, flowers, photographer (Um...anytime I pulled my $$ out when I was out with her, she told me to put it away)
So, by the end of the phone conversation, DH tells his mother that she is dead to him. So I told him I don't want anything from her EVER..nothing for our house, nothing when we have kids. He doesn't even want to call them anymore (not even to talk to his dad!).
Sorry....needed to vent and just utterly upset over the whole thing.
