I think even if I wanted to go to sleep and skip it FH wouldn't let me.
He has already said several times, 'don't we get to like consummate the marriage right after the ceremony?' I was like 'Yes hun after the ceremony I will lift the dress up in the bridal suite and you can do your thing....I think not!'

Well the bridal suite at our RH has sliding glass doors opening onto the deck where the CH is being held. I could just see someone walking in on us.
