are you getting announced into the reception? how will that work? we both REALLY want to attend our CH, but I'm trying to figure out HOW we'll do the whole transition?

that's what I meant... sorry, I think I confused myself... How early are you going to leave CH before the reception starts so you can get announced?
We plan to walk around during CH, mingle, thank everyone, do some pics, etc.

We attended approx. half of our CH. For the first half, we were in the bridal suite having something to eat and just relaxing for a bit after the pictures. Then, we mingled a bit with guests.
About 15 minutes before the end of the CH, we were brought into the ballroom to see it all set up and take a few pictures there.
Then we went back to the CH.
When the CH was over, the staff had the guests go up to the ballroom and the bridal party and parents stayed behind to line up to be announced.

We were announced into our CH to a grand bubble entry (I loved it!) down the stairs at our RH (I went upstairs to get bustled up after the ceremony) and then we were re-announced into our reception at the beginning of the reception.
We snuck off to eat a little towards the end of CH so we were able to make the separation without a problem.

We'll go back into the bridal suite for the last 15 minutes or so of CH......and yes, we are definitely being annouced into the reception.

We're crashing CH and being announced into the Reception. the Bridal suite is too small and I'm super excited about out CH special-main event. So i'm not going to miss that!!!!

we went to most of our CH. About 20 minutes before it was over the BA came and got DH and I and took us up to the bridal suite where they had some of each type of food up there for us which was nice since we didn't get a chance to eat anything at the CH. We were alone for about 10 minutes and then they brought up the rest of the BP and the parents where we waited to be announced in.

We are taking pictures before the ceremony so we do not miss the CH. We are paying for the wedding ourselves so we don't want to miss a thing.
We will be introduced once CH is over and we head into the reception hall.

We are taking photos after the ceremony and then we are def going to CH because the room is gorgeous and we want to be part of it.

We went to just about all of the CH, we missed about the last 10 mins of it, we snuck off to see the Reception room and take some pics in there before everyone came in, then went to the bridal suite and met up with the BP in there so we could make our grand entrance into the reception

We did the yacht arrival at CLM so we were announced into the CH and then left for the last 15 minutes to snack...we were then re announced intot he reception...it was fine and nobody thought it was odd!

we are just going to walk around and enjoy the CH.... then maybe 10 minutes or so before the guests make their way into the room for dinner we'll head up to the bridal suite, freshen up a little and then get announced in.
