Did you do a program? And if so what did you include in the program? Also any pics would be great
I keep debating back and forth whether or not i want to do them. Only because we're getting married at the RH and it's going to be a very quick ceremony. We're not doing any unity candles or anything like that so basically what i'm asking is is it worth it to do one?

Re: For those getting married at RH
at first i was going to then decided not to, i figured they were a waste or money and time making them, or getting them made. ive always thrown the programs out when i get home from weddings, and since it wont be a big one like in a church ill do without them. if i were doing a church wedding, i would have done them

I'm doing them. I like them, I like to always read about the who the people are in the bridal party and how the ceremony will run.

On the fence on this one. We have some tricks up our sleeve and the program may be a good way to explain what some of those things are.

Re: For those getting married at RH
good question...i can't decide if i want to do them either. i feel like if i do them it will be a diy and i don't really want to take on another project or spend any more $$. i'm leaning more to not doing them.
I did a program because we had a Hindu wedding and since my DH isn't Hindu, his entire side of the family would've been confused without a program.
I included all the ceremony steps and what each step symbolized. And the last page had a thank you to our parents and a special remberance for relatives that had passed away.
I made the programs on powerpoint and then went to Kinkos for copies. The programs were about $1 each, including the cost of paper/ribbons/copies.
I am doing them. I always like to read them when I am at weddings!

Re: For those getting married at RH
i was set on doing them - in the end i didnt have the time and didnt feel like spending any more money on the wedding - nobody noticed that we didnt have programs and looking back i think it would have been a waste if we had them made.....if you have the extra time/money go for it - but you really dont need them.....

Re: For those getting married at RH
I did them but its not a biggie - i only did it so i could mention about the passing of dh's parents and the fact i had a man of honor and i didn't want people confused.
How they were displayed walking into the ceremony:
