For those getting married at the hall

Are you having bubbles...or rice...or anything like that? How does it work? Do you give them out at the end of the reception to anyone who is left while you drive away? Do you have them blow bubbles/throw rice while you walk back up the isle leaving the ceremony? I'm confused????? Thanks.

I am not sure. I was thinking of not even having them. We can only use bubbles and I am not a fan.

We had a rose petals toss as we walked out of the ceremony space. Our ceremony was in the conservatory and the cocktail and reception were in different spaces, so there was no worries about cleaning up the rose petals after the ceremony for set-up of the reception.

we're going to have someone had out the heart shaped rice before ceremony. then they throw as we walk past after the ceremony.

we picked the rice because if it HAS to be held indoors, the bubbles can make the dancefloor slippery. and its easy cleanup!

Since our hall will have a chapel, we can throw rose petals because the room will not be used again and they don't have to worry about clean up. We will have a basket at the door with rose cones and the ushers will hand out one cone per couple as they enter the chapel and throw them as we walk back down the aisle right after the ceremony is over.

Thanks girls. I didn't think of some of your points. I bought bubbles...and hopefully we can have our ceremony outside...but if not, I guess I should check with the hall if they will clean up the dance floor while they are changing the room over.

we are using bubbles and rose petals outside in the gazebo they wil throw them at us ( or blow as the case may be ) as we are exiting the garden to go to the coctail hour

We are using rose petals. Our ceremony is outdoors (hopefully!) And I bought small organza bags to put them it. I am going to hand a bag on each chair, and hopefully they will realize to throw them at us as we walk down the aisle together as a married couple!y
