For those getting married at their hall...
Are you getting ready there? If so, how many hours before your ceremony are you going to be there to get ready? My ceremony is at 6:00, and they told me to come at 4:00. I feel like I need WAY more time then that to get ready and to take pics. How early should I go?

Re: For those getting married at their hall...
Hi.My place (Coral House) told me I should be there 2 hours before hand as well. I may come there dressed. Also I want to get some picture taking out of the way. Beware that if you come more than 2 hours ahead you may not be able to get into the bridal room being that the party from the afternoon may still be using it.

Re: For those getting married at their hall...
I haven't decided where I'm getting ready. I am planning to be there 2 hrs before ceremony to get pics done. It won't be a conflict with another wedding because my ceremony is at 11:30amJodi

Re: For those getting married at their hall...
I had hair and make-up come to the house at 7am...we left for the hall at 9:15...got there at about 10...everyone was ready...except I had to put on my dress....then we took pictures until about 11:40 and then the ceremony was at about 12:20 (was supposed to be 12:30...after 1/2 hour hospitality...but Lands End let us start early so that we could have a longer cocktail hour...)

Re: For those getting married at their hall...
Im getting married at the Jericho Terrace. They told me that I can come anytime I want to get ready and they will have my bridal attendant there for me. My ceramony is at 4:30 and since Im taking pictures there I think I will get to the hall at 1:30-2I think that is a little early but the hall said it didnt matter the room will be there waiting for me. I would talk to the hall and see if you can get there three hours before.

Re: For those getting married at their hall...
My ceremony will start at the same time as yours and will plan on getting there between 3-4pm. I plan to have my hair/makeup done prior to arriving and plan to just get dressed there. If you are doing pictures before, you should check with your photographer on timing - that could determine how early you need to get there.

Re: For those getting married at their hall...
My ceremony was at the Watermilll at 1:00pm. I got my hair and makeup done at the salon, and then arrived at the Watermill at around 10:30. My photographers were there waitting for me, actually they took pics of me gettnig out of my sister's car. They were in the bridal suite with me, while I put my dress on, shoes and jewelry on. It worked out well. Once my hair and makeup was done, the rest was easy, my dress was strapless, really easy to put on.

My ceremony is at 11:30. I am planning on getting hair and makeup done at home and then going to the hall by 9:00. I'm getting dressed and taking pictures there. You should check with your photographer, to see how long they need to get the pictures taken and then base your arrival time on that.
