Original post by Rob-luvs-me

What music are you using for your processional? and what are your girls walking into?

What music are you using for your recessional?

My church did the same thing - gave us a list to choose from and a CD to listen to (that we can keep). We are allowed to choose off the list if we like.

We chose:

BP processional - Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring
Me - Trumpet Voluntary

Recessional - us - The Wedding March (FH insisted - he's very traditional)
BP recessional - Rondeau

Other choices for Processionals:
Andante - Handel
Bridal Chorus - Wagner
Canon in D - Pachelbel
Postlude in G - Handel
Processional - Rameau
The Wedding Song - Kenny G
Wedding Processional (from The Sound of Music) - Rodgers and Hammerstein

Recessionals:

Allegro Maestoso - Handel
Ode to Joy - Beethoven
Prelude to a Te Deum - Charpentier

You can also listen to the various songs the girls listed on www.iclassics.com

you can go to www.wedalert.com, then click on wedding songs. it gives you suggestions for the ceremony, reception, dance with dad, etc.
