When do you think your bridal shower will be?
I want to be surprised on one hand and on the other I don't want to look like a schlub! Just wondering when you gals think/know when yours is.

I'm thinking it will either be July or August. On avg, I feel as if most of the showers I've gone to were always about 2 months before the wedding. If my family and friends did mine 2 months before, that would make it September. But my mom and a lot of friends are teachers, and I know my mom hates doing things during the month of September because that's back to school month and one of their busier months she says. So I'm thinking she'd be planning this for the summer when most of them are off from school!!!! Obviously, I've been putting a lot of thought into this trying to figure it out and analyze the reasoning behind it, haha.

Clueless. I know that my MOH sister wanted to do it at her house, but she lives far for the avg person. So the other place is my mom's. I know they want to do it outdoors, so I imagine summer time. I still need to do the registry, I have not even thought serioulsly about it. I am easy to fool though. FH decided to throw my a surprise bday party for my last bday and told me it was for his bro bday (we are days apart). It took me a few minutes, once there, that it was for me! I even complained to FH that I didn't feel like going and to stop pushing me to get ready

Mines isn't a surprise unfortunately. My mom told me she is having it at the end of July.

I am going to guess in the summer?

But I am sure when it gets closer and start stalking our registry to see if things have been bought

I am going to give my MOH a bag with a dress, shoes...ect to keep with her in the event I am totally surprised and dressed like a bum.

I would say a shower is supposed to be between 3-6 months before the wedding...................

I think mine is going to be in Sept. I was looking at dresses and my sister (MOH) said, oh you can wear that to your shower! Then my FSIL said it might be too cold and my sis said, no, it will still be summer. So I'm thinking it will be in September since Aug may be too early. Have to find a fab dress!

Mine will probably be in Aug. that is when my FSIL is in town for a few weeks and my sister too. They are trying to keep it a surprise but I don't think that is going to happen.

I have no clue. I am very nosey-I have been trying to figure it out for so long now, but I've come up with nothing. I hope it is in Aug sometime. I already gave the dress and shoes I would like to wear to my sister so she can hide it and have it ready for me to change when I get there. My registry still hasn't been touched yet, so who knows. lol

kind of got a hint from fsil mid sept or start of Oct-

ikind of want to know and ikind of want it a suprise too-- i cant get my mom to tell me a thing lol!!!
