For those giving FI gifts

When do you give it? I am not going to see him the morning of the wedding and would love for him to open it that day. But I want to see his reaction as well.

Since we live next door to each other, I'm probably going to ask my MOH (we all grew up together) to bring it over to him.

Edited to say: Why not exchange gifts the night before at the RD (if you're having one) ?

we exchanged gifts before our wedding. We had a special dinner (on our 5 year anniversary) and gave each other our wedding gifts.

If you want it to be private, why not give it to him in the bridal suite before the reception? Maybe you could drop the gift off the day before with your banquet manager?

If you want it to be private, you can give it to him before you say goodbye to each other. It doesn't have to be in front of everyone.

I like SomedayBride's idea too.

What did everyone get anyways?
I had a watch made and the face of the watch is a picture of his dad who passed away a few years ago.
He was very close to his dad and I know it makes him sad that he cant be there with us, so now, with the watch, he can be there with us all day in spirit...
