For those going to Sandals St. Lucia

Which resort is better Resort and Spa or Grande St. Lucia.

And, how far away are the 3 resorts from each other. How far of a ride from the golf resort and spa to Grande St. Lucia.

I went to Halcyon about 5 years ago...I thought that one was more romantic looking than the other one they had at the time - that one looked too hotel-y. Sorry, don't know about the new one.

On a side note...St Lucia is a beautiful island.

resort and spa more restaurants more options on types of area to stay, water front, senery area, main hotel, 2 level buildings, 1 level buildings and 3 levels

I am going to the grande, I am not sure which is better but you can go to all three for food and entertainment when you stay at one.

I think it all depends on what type of person you two are....from what I have heard and saw online ...the resort and spa is huge and you have to walk to everything. The Grande is smaller scale and more intimate and everything is right there. We thought of it like this on my honeymoon i don't want to have to walk 20 minutes to go eat something and we both don't like tons of people around us so we opted to go to the smaller Grande and then check out the other resorts during the day. Now you two might not mind allot of people and would like a bigger place with more things. Like I said it just all depends on what you both like. (IMO)

I'm going to the Grande. I liked that is was smaller than the resort but not too small. Aslo everything has just been redone and renovated since Sandals took over the Hyatt that was there.

I don't think its too far a drive between resorts. I want to go to the Halcyon because I hear the Pier Restaraunt is terrific.

I went to the Grande and it was amazing! I liked it better than the other resorts. It is new, beautiful, the food is great. We were treated like royalty! I would love to go back!

I cant compare the two, I have only been to the Golf & Spa. I LOVED it. But if you stay at one, you can go visit the others. If there is vacancy, you can stay at the others too.
