I used her for my alterations too and loved her!!! I asked her about non-wedding gowns and if I rememger correctly, she said that she usually tells people who want custom made brides maids dresses that it' not worth it b/c it gets costly. Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure that's waht she said.

Karin is doing my alterations, she is not making my gown. So far, after 2 fittings I am happy. I think she has a binder of gowns at her apt, that she has made, and they are not the same ones as on the website.

Stef, Karin makes other kinds of dresses too, but like Nina mentioned, it can get expensive (maybe in the $300 range and up?). I think it may be worth it if you want something specific, but probably not for a regular kind of dress that you can get at dept. stores.

Hmmm....i want to wear something chic for my Vegas wedding - white or ivory and fun but wearable again. Not really sure where I can find something like that off the rack.

Alina: Would you mind asking her if she does this and what would she charge the next time you see her?
