For those inviting kids...where to seat??

If you are having kids at your wedding, where do you plan to seat them? Are you having a kids table or are you seating them with their parents? How old were the kids too?

A kids table would let them play together (not like they wouldnt anyway) and if they mess up the table then it won't bother as many people. Seating them with their parents would let their parents attend to them during the meal or misbehavior (i.e. cutting up food, etc.). The kids at my wedding will mostly be 4-9 years old and there will probably be about 10 of them. THANKS! I'd love to hear your thoughts and plans or what worked at your wedding!!!

We sat all of the kids at our wedding w/ their familes. We had 19 kids from 6 to 15. We thought about putting them at kids tables, but I was afraid they might cause a ruckus!

If all of your kids know each other (most of mine did), then you could put them together. But, if they're shy or 'strangers', they'll end up sitting w/ their mom & dad - especially the young ones.

My friend separated my 8 year old nephew from his parents and us at her son's Communion and he was miserable. Even though he was friendly with her son, he didn't know any of the other boys at the table. We ended up adding a chair to our table for him.

I am sitting kids with their parents. A kids table means someone must supervise them, help them with their meals etc...

I grew up with a large group of cousins...and we were very close...so they usually put us all together...

but we had just a handful of kids...and we sat them with their families...
