This is where FH and I are getting married. I went to St. Mary Gate of Heaven School from K-8. I grew up in Ozone Park.

I went there too which is why I love the church so much! How old are you? I am not doing a religious ceremony but if I was it would be there of course.

St. Mary Gate of Heaven Church is so gorgeous! I have always dreamed of getting married there. FH and I met across the street from the church. I worked in the Italian pasta store across the street when I was in college. He would come into the store with the firefighters to get stuff to cook for lunch and dinner. He's a firefighter in Ozone Park too.

I'm so excited. I have to call the first week in December to set up for pre-cana. I'm still deciding whether we should get flowers to decorate the church. Did your cousin have floral arrangements? The church is so beautiful itself so I wasn't sure whether the floral arrangements were necessary.

Re: For those looking for a church...
She had flowers on the ends of the first 7-10 pews and two arrangements (not too large) on the altar. The flowers on the ends of the pews were very simple.

Ok I'm going to find out how much of an additional charge it will be. Thanks hun!

np! I don't think you would be missing anything if you went with no flowers though, the scenery alone will be perfect.

That's what FH and I were thinking. We're trying to save money where we can.
