For those making directional cards......

What should I print them on? How should I go about this? I need directions to church and from there to reception. I kept on putting this off and it has to be done asap (preferably in the most simple way possible)>

We just wrote them out without maps to keep it simple (plus I can't look at a map and drive at the same time) then we had them printed them on light weight cardstock.

I used a medium weight ivory cardstock. I put a map on one side (downloaded from the church's web site) and wrote out directions on the other side. It didn't take long at all!

On the map, I also indicated where the reception hall was and let people figure out how to get between them themselves.

I called my church who gave me one directional card and then typed them up on the computer myself and printed them out on card stock and cut them. I did the same thing for my hotel (who only gave me like 30)..

I am making to the church from Eastern LI and from Western LI. Then at the church I will have directions to the reception in each program. Also, I will get cards from the hall for the invitations.

I got these cards from Office Max & you can do it on the computer. They look like large business cards. They came out great.
