Where are you getting your dress altered and about how much is it going to cost you?

I found a lady who works out of her home. She charged me only $80, including cups and bustle! She charged my BMs about $30-40 each.

I also used a lady who worked out of her home. It cost $100 for hem and bustle.

i bought my dress in NY, but they are shipping it to me in VA (bonus part, no sales tax.) i plan on going to the bridal shop where my BMs ordered their dresses from because they also sell my wedding dress. i struck a deal, if i got my BMs dresses there they would alter my dress (allow me to do it there, but, of course, not for free.) cool things was BMs still got a 10% discount, and i feel confident in taking my dress to this shop. so i guess my suggestion is to go to place that sells the same dress maker/brand if you're not going to use the same shop.
