For those of you...

who made your own pocketfold invitations, what did you close them with? Ribbon? A monogram sticker? And where did you get the seal from?

i felt that the pocketfold was my 'inner envelope', because of that i used a clear address lable (avery 6550... if i remember correctly).

on the lable i printed the guest's name(s).

for example: on my cousin's invite...

on the outside envelope i put:

mr and mrs jimmy (yes, that's his given name) velarde

on the lable i put:

jimmy & suzanne

this way, they saw who exaclty is invited, and i felt it made it easy to open without tearing the pocketfold.

Hi! I used a satin ribbon and made a band that slid over the pocketfold. I glued it together, and created a tag in Word with our names on it and backed it metallic paper.
