Re: For those of you.....
I did my party in our backyard about 2 weeks ago. We had some chair and we borrowed the rest. For food we did hot dogs and hamburgers on the girl. Then we had dinner catered. It was only about $300. We got the cake from bjs with out picture on it. We had about 45 people there including kids. It was a very informal party and everyone had fun.

We did our e-party in my parent's backyard. Hired a DJ. We rented tables, chairs and linens. We had some soul food catered and bought stuff for the grill from Costco b/c my mom (who's cooking everyone LOVES) said it would be too much for her to do it....turns out when she saw how 'little' food we ordered she made a whole other menu of Jamaican food.
We picked up some vitals from the liquor store (vodka, tequila, etc.) My parents go to Jamaica all the time so we had the Jamaican white rum which we also made rum punch from. We had 80-90 people out there but probably not all at the same time. The decor you can see in my album. My sis decided on the 'Perfect Pair' theme so we had faux ones all over (have so many left over now...any takers?)
Most of my family is older so the 'kids' are at the youngest 18+ & most of my friends don't have kids yet. We had maybe 5 kids there...but they were welcome.
I think that answered all the ones on your list...hope it helps!

I had it in my backyard in July. We had plenty of tables/chairs. We had an indoor/outdoor party (was hot out). There were about 30 people plus some kids. We kept it immediate family, some friends. I didn't want a huge party-it gets expensive. We didnt have many decorations, some balloons from Party City. I figured it's a waste since they won't be used again. We ordered food-we didn't want anyone BBQing and not being able to enjoy the party. HTH

Re: For those of you.....
We had our E party in our back yard. It was also the day of my brother's birthday, so later some of his friends showed up. When all was said and done we had about 130-140 people.
We used the tents we had and borrowed a tent from his grandmother. We also borrowed tables and chairs. There wasn't enough seating for every single person, but we look at it as what BBQ have you been to that EVERY single person is sitting.
We had horseshoes set up to play, and they were a huge hit with the guys. We also had croquet out, but i dont think anyone played. We did invite all the kids, and I forgot to buy some of the cheap balls for them to play with. They actually used my mom's excercise ball and had a blast with that. For me it is important forme to include the kids to everything building up to the wedding because the wedding is adult only, so including them at the e party and showers and what not is my way of including them. Once the sun went down and the 'family part' ended, we started playing beer pong, flip cup and all that stuff.
For food, we cooked everything. i got a bunch of chips, salsa, dips, pepperoni and crackers, veggie platters, nachos, pigs n a blanket, pizza rolls and spinach dip. Then for the dinner we did a lot of BBQ'd food. Sausages, chicken, steak, hamburgers, hot dogs. We had wings, zitis, salad, macaroni salad, potato salad, cole slaw. I don't even remember if we had hero or not. We made wings and sausage and peppers also.
Music, we just hooked up our sound system thing, put some cd's on and had all the speakers outside.
For drinks, I got a bunch of soda, capri suns, wine, the basic liquors (bacardi, malibu, southern comfort, vodka, tequila), the basic juice mixers (cranberry, orange, pineapple), and a keg of beer (we ended up needing 3, but we are big drinkers)
