? for those of you changing out of your shoes at the reception...

...This may be a silly question but...I was looking over my list of stuff to drop off at the reception hall 3 days before my wedding and thought of this question:

If you are changing out of your shoes into flip flops, or ballet slippers, or whatever, how are you getting the flip flops or slippers you are changing into. to the reception hall? Are you dropping them off at the hall beforehand or are you going to bring them with you? Or give them to someone to bring?
I dont know if Im supposed to drop them off, and nervous if they lose my flip flops cuz I CANNOT wear heals all night! ...my feet would not like that

Are you having limos? My BM gave their bags with flip flops and make up for touch ups to the limo driver. When we arrived at the RH the stuff from the trunk was carried into the bridal suite.

I was just in my MOH's wedding she brought a bag with everything she needed she threw it in the trunk of the limo and we made sure we brought it into the brial suite when we got to the RH.

How about leaving them with the hall a few days before, when you drop off the place cards, seating chart etc etc...?

I'll be at the hall earlier then the wedding, so I don't have that issue - but we're dropping off all our accessories 2 days earlier. I'd say leaving it then is your best bet. Otherwise, designate a family member or friend to bring them and give them to the maitre d.

I brought mine with me that day, along with extra pantyhose, a hairbrush, hairspray, makeup, extra perfume, etc., etc. and the other things in my 'emergency' kit.

Make up a bag of stuff that you will need at the RH, and then just have one of your BM take it in the limo.
Your shoes, extra makeup for touchups, the emergency kit.
I have a tote bag set aside for the essentials.

I dropped mine off the week before and they had them waiting under the sweetheart table for me when we got there. But honestly....I never put them on! I ended up kicking ym shoes off half way throught the night and dancing barefoot!

O thank goodness I don't have this problem... our hotel is right where our RH is so I'll just leave my shoes in our room. Buts its all the little planning things like this that are driving me crazy and making me wonder what else I haven't thought about

I plan on bringing a bag with the essentials and my change of shoes. I want to find out a list of emergency items to pack for that just incase issues.

That's what we did for my BF's wedding...we had a day of 'bag' with everything in it that she would need for the day......

I brought them with me and kept them in the bridal suite. I took the limo with my mom and all the girls, they all had bags and put them in one, we went straight to thebridal suite and put them there until it was time touse them... hope this helps

I packed a bag and kept it in the limo until we got to the hall. The bridal attendants will come out and grab them and put it in the bridal suite for you
