for those of you doing save the date magnets...

How are you planning to send them to folks?

Did you get special enevelope to mail them or are you using regular ones? Did you include anything in the envelope in addition to the STD?

Any info is greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

i was so boring, i just threw them in an envelope...in hinesight, it would probably be more special if they were inserted in a card with a little note

A lot of times the save the dates are sent with special envelopes, you may want to check into that before buying any.

FH and I actually just finished preparing our Save The Dates and will be mailing them out tomorrow... I got personalized pencils (some might recognize the idea from the last edition of Martha Stewart). I'm sending them out in greeting card-sized envelopes with little notecards we printed up on the computer. My sister asked when we'd ordered the cards -- she couldn't tell we had done it ourselves. Maybe our guests will be fooled too.

I'm going to give mine out at the engagement party. Either with a favor or on the table for people to take.

I got envelopes that were the same size ( well a *drop* bigger) then the magnets so that they fit perfectly.

I put them in the envelope attached to card with a poem on them. It was no extra postage. I also included the hotel block card.

i ordered announcement cards from vistaprint.com and attached the magnets to them. The announcement cards came with an envelope.
