For those of you having your ceremony at your hall

For those of you having your ceremony at your hall

Are you having a RD (considering the real rehearsal will be the morning of the wedding)? And if you are, are you still calling it a 'RD' on the invitation you send out?

TIA!

NO we are not bothering. Most of our bridal party has participated in other weddings. Even if they havent, all they have to do is smile and walk slowly. I dont get why people need rehearsals. FH family hasnt offered to pay for a rehersal dinner, so we figured why bother?

I am not going to having a RD. There is so much for me to do that it didn't seem worthwhile when I can't really have a rehearsal a day or so before anyway.

We are having a fake rehearsal dinner in that we just recently got a house so we are going to have just our bridal party and their significant others to our house for dinner.
I am getting married on a Sunday and we will have them over Friday night. That way we can give them their gifts.
Small BP - only 3 on each side.

I had one - we just called it a celebratory dinner. It was a good way for everyone to meet before the wedding. My family is OOT and this was the first time they met my ILs. We had dinner with about 30 people at Nick DiAngelo's.

We are doing a quick 'rehearsal' about 15 minutes before the ceremony and doing a dinner a week before It's still nice to get everyone together to have some fun and relax and give everyone their gifts and thank them.

We are having a rehearsal..and afterwards having food..but not anything special. As it is, it will more than likely be in the evening...and we don't want it to be too long..because they next day..have to be up early :)

We're not only because we aren't going to have time in the few days leading up to the wedding.

We had our rehearsal at the hall in the actual ceremony room. The only time I wanted DH to see me walk down the aisle that day was when it was the real thing. We had our rehearsal on Tuesday and the wedding on Friday.

A bit of advice, try and do your rehearsal any time but the day before. That way you have the night before to yourself.

We had a rehearsal at the hall the night before and then we had a casual dinner at my mom's. We didn't call it a RD tho, we just said 'join us for dinner and drinks!'

ETS: We also used it as a time to relax and let everyone get to know each other. Plus we thanked our family and BP and gave them their gifts.

We did not have a rehearsal, nor did we have a rehearsal dinner.

Small bridal party - best man and MOH. We all knew what we had to do. No need for a rehearsal.

And or wedding was on a Friday night. Too complicated to have a rehearsal dinner anyway since my nieces and nephews were in school and couldn't be out late on a school night.
