For those of you looking for dance instruction recommendations...
Because of the WOTY, DH and I were offered a dance lesson from Ballroom Dance Long Island. We went last night and suprisingly, we both had a blast. We met up with John who was so cool and an awesome dancer. DH and I are actually considering taking lessons beause we had so much fun. So if your interested, I would definitely recommend them because John is a very patient man. He even danced with my DH when he was having trouble with the steps. I knew I should have brought my camera!!!

I actually contacted him via FM and he was pretty quick to respond. I think they have a few locations, but I worked with John and he works out of the garden city location. Its kinda across the street from roosevelt field behind CompUSA. Let me see if I can find his info for you.

Also - Ballroom of Huntington is great - I use to practice there, and my FH took lessons there as well!

I second John we are having a great time learning different styles of dancing. John is an excellent instructor! We are taking our lessons near Roosevelt Field Mall.

We used John and my DH now loves to dance. (From the man who only went to bars with his friends). He is great! Everyone should give him a try. Our first dance was wonderful.
