For those of you mailing STD Magnets...

For those of you mailing STD Magnets...

Did you order backers for the magnets? I am afraid if we don't spend the extra $$ on them the envelopes will all stick together and not get where they are supposed to ;)

Yes, I'm totally neurotic!

I sent mine and were just fine. When mine arrived they had a very thin piece of paper to separate them from each other so I included those, but I don't really think its a big deal. They won't stick to each other ,but maybe the mailboxes if anything.

Drop them off at the post office. My friend said she dropped them in the mail box and some got left behind b/c they stuck to it LOL

I had no problem with sending out the magnets. Everyone received them without issue. I think you will be just fine. Like the last post said - take them to the post office - it is better.

I included the backing. Magnet Street allows you to put a message on it so I included our website and hotel room block info. It felt like a little less of a waste of money that way.

I cut cardstock into the size of the magnet and placed it in the back. I also dropped them to the post office instead of in the mail box.

I also brought them to the post office...my fiancé didn't believe me that they would stick so we tested it on the outside of the mailbox and it stuck lol

I ordered my magnets with the backers. They were really cute though because you could also personalize the back of the card that the magnet sits on.

I guess we will do this - I was trying to save $$ but it would be a waste if they don't get where they should!!

Now I just have to get the room block ;)
