How did you handle the guest list? Did you have no say in it?
How do I set some guidelines (nicely) on not having people invited that I do not know? I didn't want it to be some huge hoop-la thing - I HATE having attention on me. I just wanted the women I am closest to and important in my life there. Now there is a lot of people on the list that I do not even know!! I dont want to be uncomfortable at my own shower!

I gave a recommended list to my sister (MOH) and my mom. then I asked FMIL about some people... those people were listed as 'maybes, will get back to you' on the recommended list.....
not sure what thye're doing. but I know that my mom and FMIL are goign to want to add people and my sister is going to want to take people off.......

I gave my mom the guest list from the wedding and she and FMIL went through it together.
