For those of you that have sold houses.....

I know I'm ruling out alot of people here, bc most of you have only been in one home or are just looking .... but .... for those of you who have sold a home, how long was it on the market for before you sold it? And how long did you stay exclusive to one realtor?

We just sold our condo...it was only on the market for 2 days. The first showing was an open-house and we got 4 offers. We are still in contract, but we expect to close Sept. 30.

When we sold our house in Smithtown, it was sold the first day it was on the market. When we sold our condo, it was sold the first day on the market. Our house upstate is taking forever to sell, but once we went on MLS, we started getting offers, so we'll see.

Mine sold within the first week. The realtor told us anything priced decently would sell quickly.

My house sold at the open house which really surprised me. I think it depends on how good your agent is.

I have not sold a house, however when my neighbor decided to sell, he initially decided to sell the house on his own... he went months without a bite... Then he listed with a well known agent in the area and the house sold within weeks.
