Since you are spending less this year because of wedding expenses, do you seem to have less holiday spirit. I do.

yeah- at first FH & I said we weren't even going to do gifts for each other and just focus on saving for the wedding... but it made me really sad after thinking it over, so now we're just doing small things for each other. it wouldn't be christmas without a little something to unwrap!

i'm looking forward to next year, when we'll be married, the wedding will be paid for & we can celebrate however we like!

Thankfully for me even though we are spending less on the holidays I still am in the holiday spirit. My Fh has a 6yr old. Shopping for her alone can put anyone in the Christmas spirit.

Girls keep your chins up. Christmas is about being with the ones you love. Enjoy!

I/m ok I never buy alot for Xmas I just do it for my close friends and family but the gift giving is the fun part. I like to see others smile.

My paychecks are barely meeting my living expenses, which is making wedding planning PLUS gift shopping a real challenge. I keep putting off getting gifts 'until the next paycheck,' but I still never have enough. So yes, it's affecting my spirit!

We are spending less on everyone else except our 2 little girlies and i seem to be in the same spirit i love the holidays even if i dont recieve anything as long as my kids have a good christmas thats all that matters to me

Haven't lost the Christmas spirit, but sure wish I could spend more on everyone...... My FI and I aren't even buying gifts for each other this year. Our wedding is a gift ........ and a VERY expensive one at that!!!!!!!
