For those of you whose parents are helping out financially...

Are your (and/or FH's) parents paying for the entire wedding, or do you have to pay anything out of pocket?

My and FH's families are paying for the majority of the wedding but we will prob need to add about $2-3k more out of pocket

(this number doesn't include the HM)

Just curious

my parents gave us 5000 towards it and my grandama gave us 1000 and my aunt gave us 500... i love my family...

our parents are each giving us $$....combined from the parents we are getting about half the cost of the wedding.

fh and i are paying for the other half and our honeymoon

our parents are helping out substantially but we're still going to have to put out $10-15k ourselves

parents paying for reception, Fh parents gave us some money and paid for invite and favors. we are doing the rest, including HM which in total we are paying over $15K

LUCKY LUCKY girls. our famlies gave us a wopping '0'.
sniff sniff. My dad thinks spending all this money on awedding is a waste of money (he wants me to get married but something small like my sis did)

. He is only giving me $$$ if i will use towards a downpayment for a house, and i have to share the house with my sis..

we are paying my parents back for everything they spend on the wedding thats not a gift to us...

My Dad gave me $10K, FMIL bought my dress + accs, alteration etc. They are also paying for the RD and I think they are giving us more $. FH and I are footing the rest...ugh!

my parents are giving $5K, his parents are giving $0

we are paying for the rest - luckily I get a large bonus at work that is paying for it!

my parents are paying for the RH.
my mom paid for my shower, my dress & all accessories.
my dad paid for part of the favor & will be paying for my hair & make-up day of.
my brother & SIL paid for our limos.

FMIL is suppose to be paying for the RD. we shall see what happens with that.

everything else is FH & I.

our parents are paying for everything except for the cake i ordered outside of our rh package, the hm, the rings, and the favors. and my mother is the only one paying for my dress, veil, jewelry, etc.

My parents paid for my dress and the invitations.
I am paying for the rest.
FH's parents are paying 0.
FH is paying for the honeymoon.

my parents are paying for every single aspect of the wedding, and fh's parents are paying for the rd.

we are paying for gifts for each other (and to parents, obv), our rings, and the hm.

eta they will also be giving us a generous monetary wedding gift for toward a house,

nopeeee we are paying ALLLL out of pocket!!!!!! Thankfully we paid everything cash and wont have to worry about paying anyyone off after the wedding.

we put down our first payment on the RH but my mom then took over and will pay for the rest of the RH. She is also paying for my dress and shower. FFIL is paying for the RD. Everything else is on us.

my parents gave us 10K towards the RH and I think will give a little bit more $$ when they get here. my grandparents are giving like 2K combined
FMIL gave to cover the video and officiant ~ 2K
the rest, which is about 2/3 of the costs is me and FH
