My and FH's families are paying for the majority of the wedding but we will prob need to add about $2-3k more out of pocket
(this number doesn't include the HM)

My Dad gave me $1600 and FH's parents gave him $2000. The rest of the wedding is being paid out of my pocket!!

FH and I are super lucky. Parents $$ support is enough for the wedding, HM and extra to put toward house.
Mind you, we are having a Dec. wedding so things are a little bit cheaper....

FH and I are paying for the whole thing but parents are helping a little. 5k from each set, my mom is contributing for my dress 2k and misc lil things that haven't been discussed yet.
All in all 90% we are paying for

My parents are paying for the RH (up to 200 guests)..which is why I am not thrilled that my guest list is near 300. After 200...not sure how this is working...my Dad hasnt made it entirely clear. LOL
They are also paying for my dress, veil, shoes, alterations and invitations. And contributing significantly to my shower.
FH and I have to cover the vendors and honeymoon.

my parents are covering the wedding and whatever is leftover we get as a gift for $ toward a house.
FMIL and FSFIL are paying 4k towards the HM, the rest is on us. They're paying for the RD too.
considering that we don't have enough $ to pay our bills every month, i dont know what we would have done without help. stupid, stupid student loans.
oh and we're paying for our rings, BM/GM gifts, etc.

My parents are paying for everything but our rings, the honeymoon and our bridal party gifts which we are paying for...supposedly FILs are giving us $10,000 but I've yet to see a dime of that money so whatever.

Our parents helped out A LOT but DH and I did contribute a lot as well. We definitely wouldn't have been able to do it without them though!

FH and I are paying for about 70% of it.
My parents happily pd for the E-Party, Shower, Flowers, half of my Dress, half of the invitations and are loaning us about $10k (which is more than enough as I am so grateful as my Dad has had some tough times in this market job wise). FILs are just paying for the RD (and that was an argument between FH and his parents). Even though they offered to first pay for the DJ (then said they weren't), then offered to pay for the limos (then said they werent), and now are paying for the RD (thank god, otherwise we wouldnt have been able to afford one if we had to pay for it ourselves). They say they can't afford to help us - yet they go out to dinner 4 nights a week to pricey places and bought some rather expensive items recently...
This is a sore topic among FH and I. I just feel so bad for FH because his parents really don't seem want to help at all

My parents are paying for everything, including the e-party, dress, tuxedos, shower, rehearsal dinner and honeymoon. We're paying for rings and gifts.

My parents are very generous and paid for my veil and dress, paid for our e-party at Swan Club, and are also paying for 225 ppl at the RH. Anything over 225 ppl they said we have to cover. FH told his parents and they said they will help out with that since his side alone is like 160 ppl. So I think they may give us a few $K. FH and I are paying for everything else (photog, DJ, limos, etc) although we got a lot of money for our e-party which we are using for those things.

My parents are paying for the majority of the wedding, FH and I are contributing about 15K - 20K. Hindu weddings are super expensive....too many days to pay for!!! without my parents i dont know how we would plan everything.

My mom and Aunt are giving us enough $ to pay for our photo, flowers, limo, and DJ/Video. Another family member gave us enough $ to cover the majority of our HM. Oh, my mom is also paying for my dress and alterations.
