When you do the album how do you put the pictures in? Keep the order of events or put the pics you took beofre the ceremony first? What if you take pictures beofre hand at a different site. I guess it is a personal choice but i thought I would ask what people are doing! Thanks!

I am not worrying about the whole tradition.. I am taking pics before and putting them in the book in the order we took pics, me getting ready, taking pics at westbury gardens, then off to the church and so on and so forth.. definately do what you want to do, the little things make such a difference..

Even if we took pics afterward, I would still be confused as to the order.
The natural flow seems to be getting ready, ceremony, reception. But the whole formal photo deal doesnt seem like it tells any part of the story. So what is everyone doing?

We are trying to work this out too. We were going to have the more customary order of getting ready, ceremony, bridal party and family shots, reception. BUT - we have pictures from when we first saw each other that are obviously not during the ceremony. I am sort of thinking of keeping it quasi chronological. Who knows? I'll probably change my mind 10 tens before we put the album together

Hee hee..sorry to add more confusion..I am glad to hear you guys are not sure either..I might try asking the photographer what people do.. Keep me up to date on what you decide =)..thanks!!
my sister helped me (I definitely suggest having some one help you - my sister used to do wedding photography...so that was a plus...but I needed someone who could tell me not to include EVRY guest in the album)
we organized all the proofs that I picked out (over 100 - and needed to be cut down) into groups...
we started with a b/w our hands holding...then the next 2 pages were 1 of me...1 of DH...then next page...us seeing eacvh other for the first time...then we went into the ceremony...family shots...bridal party shots...reception shots...and we ended with a shot of us walking away...starting our new life...
its just a general idea of 40 pages...but hope it helps

still debating whether or not we'll take pics before/after ceremony but if we do it beforehand, we'll still put album pics in order, like brides house, church, ceremony, BP pics, reception, etc.
