For those that asked about alternative to guest books

For those that asked about alternative to guest books

I finally found the pix on my PC to share with you ladies of what my well wishing board looks like.

Let's see if this works

I know the pix is small but I hope you get the idea. There is also the idea of a well wishing bowl. I am going to see if I can find a pix of it and post it here for you all to see. I think that is also a very nice alternative

Here is the wish bowl, the guest gets little blank cards as they enter and they fill them out at their tables, and when they are completed they drop them in the jar.

Here is another one: You can have 2 jars, one with the blank cards and one for the completed cards

You can also do fun cards for your guest to fill out if there is any down time at your wedding and have them return them at the end of the night. This is the front of the card, you do not have to do too many questions, but this gives you and idea of the kinds of questions you could ask. Once you have all of them back you can hole punch them and place them in a binder.

great ideas shamma!!

just another idea...

I am having a guest book, but it just a book (acid free paper...), but we asked people in the invitations (an insert) to bring a photo of them with the bride and/or groom...we are also having a polaroid next to the guest book, for people who forgot...

I hope it works!!

Yabbobay, I wanted to use the same idea but figured it would be too much work. I know you are getting married this weekend (CONGRATS!!!!!) (let me know how your book comes out!!!)

Heres my current idea:
I am thinking about purchasing several smaller memory books and putting one on each table (10 guests per table). I think I may make each sheet look like the pages Shamma posted and leave a spot to add a picture of the guest (that the photographer will take) and insert them later on.

The 2nd pix is from Martha Stewart. But the bowls are sold at Target for I think $15 each. Getting them from MS can cost you a pretty penny

Shmma96,

I really like the bowl thing with the blank cards to fill out. But I already bought a book that I wanted to pass around to each table for each guest to write their well wishes in. Do you think that this is cheesy? I am only planning on having like 100 guests.

not corny at all, you will just have your pages intact. I think your book idea is fine. Just have your band or dj remind your guest to pass it around so it can get filled up

Happy planning
