To everyone that got their FG dresses from Century 21 or a similar store, how did you do that? Did you see it in the store and buy it yourself? And have the parents reimburse you? Or did you go with them? or did you tell them what to look for? Only because with those stores the inventory is always changing and varies from store to store. But they have a lot of nice dresses out now b/c of Communion season.

if u see something buy it.. even if u buy a few..have the girl try them on..
even if they dont reimburse u, those dresses ar elike 40$ TOPS. i think its worth it..instead of ordering something.
also, i would get them in a bigger size cuz ur wedding isnt til December. kids grow a lot

I actually saw them online and ordered them when there was a sale (JC Penny) I just found out what their sizes were and bought it for them. The mother didn't really have any input, but that was fine with her

yea true. I feel bad, I'm having 4 FG's and 2 RB's. All of them are FSIL's kids and both FSIL's are in my BP and their husbands are too. I dont want all these ppl to go broke buying attire for this wedding so I was trying to be a little mindful of that.

I bought mine at Burlingtons. It was 24.99. My cousin (her daughter is the FG) offered to give me the money for the dress, but after seeing FG trying on the dress and twirling around and how happy she was (she's a total girl, loves dressing up), I said forget it. Instead of going shopping with my cousin and FG, I went to Burlington's on my lunch, picked up 4 dresses, went to their house after work and she tried them all on and we returned them. The next day I went back and returned the other 3 dresses. Just a warning though, don't lose the receipt, cause those dresses are going to go on clearence soon and without a receipt they will only give you the lowest amount the dress was on sale for in store credit only.
