For those that have been to the Melting Pot in Farmingdale

For those that have been to the Melting Pot in Farmingdale

Did you have a reservation or did you just show up? Our 6 year anniversary is on Saturday and we wanted to go there. I just called to make a reservation and they said only 4pm or 10:15pm. Not exactly dinner time. We were thinking of just showing up and waiting for a table.

You have to make reservations----you can call or go on Open Table and make it through there

Really? You can't just wait? The website doesn't say reservations only.

You def need them - especially on a weekend.

I was there Friday night and they told people that just walked in that they wouldn't be able to accomodate them that night at all.

my friend is a bartender there and they are pretty much booked up all of Jan on weekends. but you can call and try.. also if you go on the website and register as a prefered customer you get a coupon for a free chocolate fondue dessert!!!

We were there last weekend (had reservations) and they were telling people the same thing. They said for weekends they are booked up about 2-3 weeks in advance and for weeknights about a week in advance.

So annoying! I was so looking forward to it too. Maybe I'll call now for Valentine's day!
